Never got hacked.

What is the secret?
>>
target an audience too young to hack
>>
Nothing of interest.
>>
Autistic 6 year olds don't have money.
>>
>>321447496
Nobody uses it, nobody worth hacking on it

Same reason Macs were "hack proof" for a century - smaller audience, smaller damage, less reason for security breach
>>
What is there to hack?
They don't have an account system.
>>
never got hacked too.
Same secret, probably.
>>
>>321447496
The service is already so shit it'd be like trying to hack a hamster wheel.
>>
The hackers are nintendrones.
>>
>>321447742
But they do now. Not that it amounts to shit.
>>
I watched a video that explained that the retards over at nintendo were literally too stupid to make an online network. They knew nothing about xbox live or PSN as if they had never even heard of those consoles' abilities to play games online. That's why nintendo had friend codes.
>>
>>321447742
they do though

Can't hack what doesn't exit, can ya?
>>
>>321447496
Nobody cares.
>>
>lol shitendo eshop no games also online sucks dick
>psn, steam, xbone live all hacked by teenagers
>eshop is the only safe stronghold

feels good family
>>
>>321447742
Yes they do.
>>
>>321447721
Basically this, smaller base = small target = smaller effect.

Nintendo Wifi Connection was basically just gamespy though wasn't it I'm sure that was targeted before?
>>
>>321447496
every bit of information is stored in japanese
>>
>>321447587
vtech got hacked tho
>>
>>321447496
Not being nearly as massive as Steam (because they don't have much to offer). And kind of actually selling something for being digital.
>>
people emulate Nintendo games on every other system all the time so there's no point. that's how Nintendo figure out people will pay money to download old games.
>>
Nobody hacks Nintendo for the same reason nobody bullies disabled kids.
>>
>>321448239
"OH BOY! They blocked the page where I could digitally download a portable game from a decade ago on my not portable console! I wonder what could I do now?"

>starts emulator on smartphone
>screw that, this is much better
>>
>>321448824
>nobody bullies disabled kids
i don't what school you went to but that's a flat out lie
>>
>>321447496
locked to hardware
obviously thats both good and bad

>>

The disabled were never bullied when I was a kid, the autists on the other hand...
>>
>>321447890
Got a link to it? Sounds amusing.

People don't pay to use Nintendo's online network so there wouldn't be nearly as much butthurt
>>
>>321450168
autists are disabled by default
>>
>>321447587
that did not stop the 360

man /v/ had a field day then

Not him but here's the link. Did you know gaming vid from the beginning.

>>
>>321447496
Because the hackers are Nintenyearolds.
>>
>>321447496
Folded over 1000 times with the knowlegde of ancient japanese craftmanship and protected by ninjas.
>>
>>321450375
That's a myth and we both know it. Autists just need a good whoopin.
>>
>>321447496
Nintendium servers
>>
>>321450375
Autism isn't even a real thing. It was made up bullshit by parents when they found out their kid was an idiot.
>>
The Nintendo Network runs on modified Nintendo 64 hardware, coated with 50 pounds of Nintendium, and is primarily held together with blu-tack and Super Mario-themed tape. It's impenetrable, there's not a hacker that can break through its defenses.
>>
>>321450696
Yep it's that one. And they wonder why they're going to shit. Only moms or nostalgic adults buy nintendo products.
>>
>>321450552
It was different then since only XBL charged their users.
>you get what you pay for etc.
>>
>>321451163
>Only moms or nostalgic adults buy nintendo products
Or people who want to play online :)
>>
Its secret is not being relevant
>>
>>321451163
Monster hunter is serious bznis in japan anon.
>>
>>321451351
play what online?
>>
>>321447496

>>
>>321451650
Videogames. I guess you wouldn't know about those if you're a PS4 owner.
>>
>>321451650

Monster hunter?
>>
Too easy
>>
>>321451115
You realize the vast majority of autistic children are non verbal and mentally retarded right? I can understand being sceptical of self diagnosed teenagers acting like assholes and saying they can't help it, but when fucking chris chan is "high functioning" that aught to give you some perspective on how fucked in the head your average autist is.
>>
>>321452065
He's an idiot with a weird fetish. Stop acting like he is some special snowflake because MUH AUTISM

Man all this talk of monster hunter has me wanting to play. I'll set up a lobby if anyone is interested.

High quests preferably.
>>
how comes every time there is a thread about nintendo it ends up with a discussion about autism?
>>
>>321452542
Same reason of why /v/ aways makes food analogies.

Autism.
>>
>>321452684
Or shit analogies
>>
>>321447496
Nobody cared enough
>>
>>321447890
I find this idea hilarious
>Nintendo: People always say they can outsmart internet security. What if we try to out-stupid hackers instead?
>>
>>321452316
If anyone thinks chris chan is a special snowflake they're a fucking idiot. He is autistic as fuck, but there's nothing special about that.
>>
>>321447496
Nobody cares
>>
>>321447496
Its not the 90s anymore, noone cares about Nintendo like that anymore
>>
>>321447496

"WEW LAD we want you to buy that extremely rare game for 200 dollars, you don't like emulating in front of Uncle Ninty"

>Only Coolroms has nintendo roms gone

Good I'm tired of their "Click video to download rom" bullshit
>>
It's so fucking limited that there's nothing to take down.
>>
no one uses it
>>
>>321447929
What?
>>
>>321447881
>>321447894
>>321447980
True. With Wii there was no account and shit was DRM'd to the console. While with Wii U the games are DRM'd to the account... but the goddamned account is DRM'd to the console so it's functionally the same for the time being until they decide to unhook accs and devices which probably ain't happening until NX and even then they might just stick tothe current DRM transfer method that requires having both devices on hand to make basically the Pokemon trade, but with DRM, via the internet. Shits retarded but at least I only gotta worry about real world burglars on that platform so it's kinda bad but kinda good.
>>
>>321447858
This. Last year LS said they did something to Nintendo, not on purpose, but that when they checked again Nintendo had already fixed it.
>>
DDoSing nintendo network would never work, it's like throwing a few gallons into an empty pool and expecting it to overflow.

Or at least, the Japanese division did.

Can we celebrate with E-Shop suggestions? I have a few cards there and aren't too sure what to get. Want to get things E-Shop exclusive. Is dark witch series good?

Fatal Frame V is solid, if you can get around its flaws.
