Okay, does anyone remember when Smash was good? A time when Nintendo relied on deep, intricate gameplay instead of blatant sexualised fanservice to sell these games? Putting the ever-so-retarded Zero Suit Samus in Brawl was only the beginning of the downward spiral. She wasn't in Melee, because the developers were actually smart back then and knew not to rely on "omg boobies :3" to sell a game. And here we are now, the ballot's over and guess who won?

So instead of putting in a character that would make sense like K.Rool or Shovel Knight, they decide that they would rather use more fucking fanservice because their manbaby audience can never learn to grow up and stop thinking with their dick. Does anyone here even unironically like Bayonetta?

Smash Bros is a game series. If you don't want to play the modern one, theres older prequels you should play instead. I get that you feel betrayed but being voted #1 in Europe and #5 in north america is a good enough reason to include her.

The thing about Bayonetta's sexualization is that it's mostly played for laughs. And the game has a general feel of fun around it, plus that Bayo herself seems confident in herself and takes charge in everything she does. Also she kicks ass and looks good doing it.

Yes. The biggest problem Smash Bros. ever had was the constant, unending fanservice. Smash Bros. is right up there with Senran Kagura in terms of gameplay content to fanservice. That's why Sakurai said to hell with CERO and didn't modify Bayonetta's design to make it less risque.
