I don't understand what you are trying to prove with that. Zero has better and safer rushdown than the dedicated rushdown characters and better zoning/runaway than some dedicated zoners. And of course, he can combo better than any other character. Vergil has the dumbest hitboxes in the game and his X-factor game is ridiculous. The low tiers are absolute trash and just can't compete. KBR won despite his team, not because the game was balanced. And when you look at the game as a whole, his team was not even that low tier.

It's boring. Every match is the same, you don't ever need to use raw hypers because you're supposed to try to land a crouching light attack and then do your 20+ hit combo into a hyper.

I agree with you to a point, but morrigan is a better zoner than zero, and x-23 has safer rushdown once she gets in with mirage feint cancels. Zero is not the best at either, and most characters can kill with one combo anyway, so that fact that he is is hardly an issue unless you dislike that kind of pace.

I play X-23, she's really good and better than most people think, but Zero shits on her in so many regards. MFC pressure is very difficult to do since you have to predict how the opponent defends. If they just hold down back, it's a free mixup, but by going to the air, where her conversions become more difficult and her normals don't reach properly, and varying pushblock timings, you can stop her rushdown. Zero, on the other hand, stays on you, mixes you up whether you like it or not and you can't really stop him from getting in if he wants to. Zero has more effective rushdown than X-23. By the way, that's the matchup that made me sick of the game. It's a 9-1 matchup, no fucking joke. Even Traumatisch switches to Dormammu against average Zero players.
Other small things also piss me off, though. Like Vergil anti-airing her L Talon attack with raw S... from behind. Capcom made top tiers on purpose, but their way to do it apparently involved making ridiculous hitboxes. Made the game boring and annoying. Of course, there are plenty more problems with the top tiers, but some things are more annoying than others.

MFC is fucking nuts, and not even only from only st.H. Cancelling the first hit of cr.M leaves anyone confused due to the lack of blockstun.
But again, MFC doesn't give X-23 mixups for free. There's a lot of thinking that needs to happen to make her effective. I ended up almost autopiloting it and it worked horrible.
And the saddest thing about all of this is that we are never going to get a character this fun ever again. And we'll never get the balancing required to make her more viable against the very top tier.

Marvel was just in it for movie promotion and to introduce characters people forget about since they are going to show up in future movies/tv shows. They were also stingy and picky as fuck, Capcom had to follow all instructions down to a T when making the Marvel characters and their moveset. Even stupid shit like Strange's handsigns.
Being an unbalanced piece of shit because of X Factor and lazily made hit boxes, thanks to Capocom.
The transition to 3D models was disliked by most of the old fanbase. I miss the sprites, but the models definitely look good to me. Cant please every i suppose.
