What are some good gaming headphones? Budget is 60-100 dollars, can go for more if its worth price for performance.
Anyone know a good review site?

You'd be better off buying non gaming headphones and a cheap mic if you're just going for general purpose. Better bang for your buck

I'd rather get some a nice gaming headset that is somewhat durable, comfortable, has surround sound, and looks nice.

>I'd rather pay three times as much for gaming headset as I would for regular headphones of similar quality.

>HEY GUISE I CAN MEME AM I COOL
For gaming I use a wireless. For your price range you can get a decent comfy set. Fuck I hate the cord touching my arm

>HEY GUISE I'M A SHAMELESS CONSUMER LOOK AT MY BEATS AND MY IPHONE AM I COOL YET?
You're a complete fucking idiot if you buy gaming headsets.

Oh yeah if this was obviously true why do people purchase them all the time? The average consumer is not that stupid.

too expensive

Why? Because of some imaginary stigma you perceive? Some products labeled 'for gamers' or 'gaming ____' are stereotypical inferior quality (keyboard and mice for example)
Headsets however, are exempt from this rule. Go ahead, go google some 'gaming headsets' Go browse around amazon. You'll see the full range of overpriced 120$ sets to 20$ padded "gaming headphones" with comparable tech.
OP, if you find a headset you like with the prefix "gaming" attached, dont be instantly hesitant because some autistic neckbeard likes to shitpost. Look at the specs and decide for yourself
Just got regular quality headphones. ath m50x are nice as are any of the sennheiser cans
I'd say go to /hpg/ on /g/ and ask but that's one of the worst individual threads on entire site and it's Christmas so I won't be a dick
I've used a Plantronics Gamecom 780 for the last 2 years, for 4-12 hours a day, and they are pretty solid.
Just replaced it with a Kingston HyperX Cloud II because I abused it. They still work fine, but they're kind of gross looking and beat up. So far, they're okay. I noticed a little bit of static while playing Dota, but I think it went away.

Lmao. Might as well ask the clueless fuck at bestbuy for advice.

>tfw youve worked at bestbuy
>tfw 99.99% of the customers think they know more than employees-but dont
>tfw implying examining technical data about products is a bad thing
