Torrent the full collections for SNES, GB, GBA, GBDS and maybe there is a good one for 64. Just quicker and easier since the files are small.
For PS, PS2, PSP and Game Cube use emuparadise . me and pick out what you want. I use orbit downloaded to make up a download queue so it just keeps going down the list.

I'd reccomend DS1 before playing DS2. Most people agree DS1 was better, but I don't find DS2 that bad personally. It's just that I personally like to play older looking games before playing the newer looking games.
Eitherway, keep in mind you will probably want to have a controller to play it on. I once tried doing a runthrough on a keyboard and it was awful.

Try out dead rising 2 and 3 (even though 3 runs like shit on most PC's)
Try Dark Souls 1 and 2 (get scholars of the first sin version for the 2nd game.)
Pirate the Half life 1 remake "Black Mesa", and half life 2 if you haven't already played it.
Get the Bioshock games and system shock games.
Homeworld 1 and 2 (a remastered version is available now)
