Found the shitter. AWPs are niche weapons that only have strategic value (area denial, limiting the T's options to execute, or CTs options for retake).
Unless you're channelling The Pig and have an incredible amount of skill, the AK is the superior weapon for practically every scenario. This is why AWPers in pro matches tend switch for an AK when they're in a 1v1 or 1v2 situation.

Pretty much. I actually prefer the playstyle it has now, as it makes you rely a lot more on teamwork, communication, positioning, and strategy rather than twitch-aiming and flick-shots.

Shitters never seem to be able to pull off proper pushes on awpers because they immediately freeze up and dive into cover when the first shot rings out.
If you just keep pushing his position, or hold the angle he's about to pop out from, you will kill him, which can be a trade if he killed a teammate.
