so I'm trying to get into Final Fantasy. I played some of the games when I was a kid but I don't remember which one and I never bothered to get into the series.
What FF is the best to start?

Most of them have their own stories, depends on what you like as far as gameplay.

The first one
Just start at VII like a normal person.
If you don't play anything else in the series you'll at least know what the big deal is.

I started with 1. But There are many great entry points.
I'd recommend 1, 4, 5, 7, 9, or 10.

Don't bother anything after 9 isn't worth it. If you're underage and can't handle retro games since the gaming community is the only community that thinks it hipsterish to enjoy classics then it's not worth it

Why would anyone bother to shoop that

try VI or VII. Then X, IX or VIII. XII and XIII are quite diferentes and more divisive but pretty Good Still. And Tactics.
The order you play them doesn't matter.
IMO, the best three are 10, 7, and 4.
Doesn't matter, emulating IV, V or VI on SNES would be the easiest way to go so I'd start with any one of those.
Pick between 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 or 10.
Personal recommendation? 7, just so you know what everyone's masturbating over.
play the enchanced ports of the first one you fool
>b-but I hate standard JRPGs
then why are you playing Final Fantasy? Get real. FF1 is a piece of history and deserves to be played

Didn't think james cameron was so based
too bad it's probably a fake tweet
>>321331339
they gonna be annoying as shit to play now. random encounters suck ass.

Whichever one looks the most interesting to you.
FFXIV it's the best in the series.
You've gotta play them chronologically, or else they won't make sense.
