The studs on the glove are brown instead of grey, the finger parts don't have the coil look to them. The arm thing has five sections instead of four, and it doesn't have the bandaging underneath. The hair also has a slightly different shape, and is much more angular and hard looking. I'm not going to mention proportion differences in the actual model. Nomura is doing the character designs for both. Considering CC2 developed the G-Bike Mobile game and they're also working on the remake, the game and Nomura's art were probably made with the knowledge that the remake was coming up. Therefore, the designs for the characters probably aren't going to deviate too much from the G-Bike artwork. Barrett is tweaked in the trailer for the remake, but he doesn't seem very different from his design in G-Bike outside the added tattoos and sunglasses, the latter of which may be temporary.
That said, the character artwork is something fairly irrelevant to the overall quality of the remake, so it's kind of silly to base your faith solely on that.
