DKC 1 & 2 are some of my favorite games ever and i think the DK roster is sated with just Donkey and Diddy

This. Rayman is the final piece we need to have the god of all crossover games. Anything else is just fluff. The only characters on OPs shit list that deserve to get in now is Sceptile, ICs and Dixie Kong.

what are the odds Ubisoft approached Nintendo about Rayman in smash but they got denied, and got 3 trophies as a consolation prize. they seemed into it enough to give the Smash team 3D models as references instead of sketches
