No, Solas absorbed Mythal's spirit. It was unclear in the ending but they expanded on it in the DLC.
In the DLC he magics off your fucking arm and leaves you alone. You have the choice of either making the Inquisition stronger, more likely to find him but open to corruption, or disband it entirely and search for him with some m8s
