After playing for an hour you've experienced all the game had to offer gameplaywise, as you'll fight the same enemies over and over with the same locations over and over. Boss fights are the only time when the game gets interesting, but there's a gross amount of running and fighting the same enemies over and over in between each of them.

It's tedious as fuck and the RPG elements are entirely worthless. Enemies scale to you and thus at the very end of the game you're fighting the same enemies and dealing the same comparative damage to them as you were at the start. Having constant random battles with this sort of design made exploring the world a chore, especially with the massive reuse of assets.
It would've been far better if it was simply a linear arcade styled game with each of the "dungeons" being stages.
Frankly all of VanillaWare's games have similar problems. They could be far better if they would trim the fat and focus on the strengths.

I started playing it recently.
I'm enjoying the fast-paced combat, the areas are pretty and the setting is cool, but everything else feels a bit inferior to Odin Sphere.
RPG elements are pointless and crafting is almost too "automatic" since apparently there is no reason to not craft things as soon as possible (even if you can't equip it). In OS, the stamina bar "forced" you to pay more attention to combat (instead of just connecting combos and spamming Arts while paying attention to projectiles), you had to balance your EXP between your weapon and your plants, plus you had other things to manage, like crafting items that helped a lot in combat (while Muramasa mostly have just basic healing items and some utility ones that I never use, even on Shura mode).
Then again, I just defeated a few bosses, so maybe there is more to see.
After Muramasa I will try Princess Crown with one of these translation sites/patches.

It's true Sony is killing the industry. People like to shit on the Wii for being a "lel casual" console but it actually brought over a ton of games that wouldn't have appeared here otherwise at all. Sin & Punishment got a fucking sequel because of the first ones VC sales (a first for western markets). Muramasa got an extended version on the PSP thanks to the relative success of the Wii release.
It's all ogre now though, the PS4 will probably top out at ~50 million units sold and maybe 3-4 exclusives... if we're lucky.

Im having fun with soul sacrifice delta but the lack of online documentation makes me feel lost at times. Some bosses I manage in no time at all and get high scores while others take me a long time to beat. Also it has a really neat feature you are reading some kind of living book. It also contains lore of every monsters which are wellknown monsters but then altered. It also has really good voiceacting.

Hells are when an enemy is paralyzed due to having been struck by an element too many times, with fire they're set on fire, with electricity they're stunned, with ice they're frozen solid, with rock they're petrified, with poison they're drenched in it. You then hit the boss in that state with an attack that's the element that's strong against the state its in
fire > poison > stone > lightning > ice > fire
Also countering works with any spell that damages the enemy, doesn't need to be physical, but you won't get bonus points if you counter bosses, just grunts.

I wouldn't know, I never played the PS3 version. From what I can tell it still has changes from the 360 version, but I find it a small price to pay for being able to play Ninja Gaiden on a handheld.

You can play them in any order, really. There's a recommended order, but since a lot of the games play differently and the next game will play much like Celceta, you might as well start there.

One of my favorite games of all time for sure. Fury mode especially is so much fun, it really makes you go hard on the offensive instead of playing it safe. Also for some reason I had the most trouble with the spider and the boar bosses.
