What would the "perfect game" require?
I'm talking about a game that gets 10/10's from every single reviewer, universal acclaim, and overwhelmingly positive reception from /v/.
something that the silly goyim would prefer
maybe another call of duty?
would get us lots of shekels
COD mixed with Skyrim that has a trans main character.

These are mutually exclusive.
Paradox, senpai. If it gets universal praise it won't get praise on /v/.
To get praise on /v/ it needs to not get praise anywhere else.

>What would the "perfect game" require?
The same thing a perfectly black body would require.

If a game gets lots of 10/10 reviews its impossible for it to be popular on /v/

Easy, all you need is a game where you can do literally everything, and have it look, sound, taste, smell, and feel better than real life.
Quite simple really.

But we already have Borderlands
If I can be serious for a moment, I think a "perfect game" would probably be a game that succeeds in doing what it sets out to do perfectly.
That doesn't mean everybody likes it, it could be rightly seen as a piece of shit by some. Maybe Portal would be a good example, because it's very narrow in what it tries to do, but does it perfectly - but of course it's not everybody's favorite game just for that.
I wouldn't say, for example, Dark Souls, because it does what it sets out to do well, but it has some glaring flaws in execution that detract from the overall experience. Even though I personally prefer it to Portal.
In that sense, if you simply set the bar low, you could be "perfect" while still making a shitty game. Angry Birds might be an example of a game like that.

This mindset is why western games are mostly shit.
Good games are made of interesting gameplay mechanics and good level design, not realism
