You know I don't think I ever have read a good one.
When I was young Nintendo Power was largely just a advert and often boiled down the games so much they were described well at all.
Magazines in the middle were either bought out or just slow to adapt. Like PSM was decent but
I remember reading them complaining that the controls in Timesplitters were too hard, and they are now the standard FPS controls for consoles. I remember thinking what bullshit that game is awesome so what if its plot is meh its an excuse to have a game full of every gun every. Probably the best FPS on consoles really and one of the least bought out magazines shat on it.
After that I never really read ones online, they seem to have gotten worse though. And videos are a different thing.
