A bunch of horror games have physically weak protagonists. Almost every horror game without a battle system does this. Best example, I think, is Clock Tower on the SNES. You play as a weak, defenseless orphan girl. And even some games with combat systems, like Silent Hill, do it too (Harry Mason from the first game being the best example).
