The game people really want is Dark Cloud 2. Rogue Galaxy pretends to be a "spiritual successor" to Dark Cloud 2 but gets rid of the townbuilding, random dungeons, and weapon levelling aspects.
Dark Cloud is one of those Assassin's Creed/AC2 situations where the sequel is so lightyears beyond the original you can barely believe they're from the same company.
