I really liked 1984, first book that I read that made me think, than again I haven't read that many books. Really opened my mind to wanting to read more though.Great Gatsby was good, but overrated as shit, the diction was good though, everything was worded really nice, kinda poetic at times. Felt borderline pretentious at times, but considering the setting, it may have been intentional.
