Because they're focusing entirely on freeplay rather than Survarium's PVP gamemodes.
We've seen more from Tarkov in the 2 months it's been announced than Survarium's freeplay which was announced in like 2012/2013

Eh, I think you could call this a DayZ clone about as easily as a STALKER clone
Yeah there's an open world and scavenging, but pretty much everything else that makes up STALKER is missing
Plus the multiplayer aspect tends to gimp scavenging, so I'll have to see how that turns out first

Wheres the artifacts, mutants, three way power struggle between duty, freedom, and the military/outside interests? Because those are key elements of STALKER, and I dont see any of that.
