if there had to be a character/pokemon that gets better the more damage it takes, make it this one
It used to be Diddy Kong back in Brawl, I really don't like monkeys, and DK hardly looks like one.
But the one that takes the gold for me is Bayonetta for being so unfitting, she simply doesn't fit, it looks even more unfitting than when Snake joined Brawl.
There was literally no one I didn't want besides her during the Ballot voting, and fuck me, she's in. Call me salty, but I think I'll never digest her being in Super Smash Bros.

it's weird, because the non-Nintendo guests feel absolutely perfect (bar Sonic who could use a bit of a rework), like i can't think of any sort of grand alteration that would make them more attractive to play

Hated him in 64, hated him in melee, hated him even more in brawl and hate him more than I could ever hate any living being in 4.
I have no idea what Sakurai was thinking when he added this piece of shit into the game, but making him one of the best characters in the game convinced me that the man is insane, every fucking time it's "PKFIREPKFIREPKFIRE" 3 Fairs that combo into eachother, busted ass aerials, PK thunder that kills most of the cast more than clouds finishing touch ever could, Fsmash attacks that reflect three times stronger than any in the game, smashes that are more powerful than they should be (a fucking yoyo doesn't deserve to have that much damage or knockback), and worst of all a grab with the reach of a grapple hook without the endlag and that BTHROW THAT KILLS AT 60%
I hate him, i hate his appearance, i hate his victory theme and animations, i hate his taunts and i especially hate his fanbase that worships earthbound as the greatest jrpg ever when its just as shallow (if even more) than undertale, but just like undertale, fanboys lap it's shit up because they think it's "funny and quirky"
