It's bad on two levels:
1. They were so lazy they just decided to spawn 3 of the one boss they had instead of create a new one
2. It's practically invisible, it's movements are erratic, and it can barely hurt you because of how telegraphed it's moves are. It's also a bullet sponge. Prepare to spend 2 minutes trying to find one through the fire pillars, then getting off 3 shots before another pillar forces you to move and you lose sight of it again.

I finished the game yesterday in Death March with Cat School Master Stuff, Poisoned Blades and I upped all the fast attacks buffs.
Once you get your first Witcher full set (griffin at level 11) I found that Death March wasnt a pin in the ass.
If you always use oils it's pretty easy with Poisoned Blades.
But it was really really hard from lvl 1 to 10

Chaos Rising had Ulkair, with his 7 million hit points. You do an entire bullshit level before you can fight him, with no checkpoints, and then once you do it's a solid half-hour grind if you're good at the game and that's not on the hardest difficulty by any means.
Retribution had Kyras, who was the giant daemon half stuck in the ground and who was so gamey it physically hurt to play the mission. Well, it would if you couldn't just use right click to auto-purchase units and set the rally point on his huge butt, then go and do something else for half an hour while you wore him down under four billion Guardsmen.
It's a shame - the first Dawn of War had *great* gameplay, but pretty shit graphics, and then Dawn of War 2 had waaaay better graphics, but *shit* gameplay other than the first 2 campaigns. The multiplayer was just horrendous.

I didn't actually mind Mem Aleph. I always get really absorbed in demon fusion in SMT games so by endgame I had a pretty good selection to choose from. Possibly I had the MC equipped with something that repelled her insta-death spell, if that were even possible. Can't remember

Her instant death spell bypasses all resistances. It has a 100% hit rate as well if I recall correctly. She doesn't use it often but if she does use it there's nothing you can do to stop it.
Some people find the fight easier because she never used it, others, like me, find it bullshit because she used it to instantly win a few times. She's just a more poorly designed boss than Ouroboros.

The first two are extra challenge bosses that are supposed to be as hard as possible, PS3 Dark Force is easier than in any of the other games, and SF2 Zeon's only problem is his AoE effect that you can run away from and heal since he can't move. And PS2 Dark Force was irritating because of his Turn Evil move, but sometimes he doesn't randomly fuck you over and turns out to be not that bad.
