One of the most enjoyable MMOs since WoW. Lots of beautiful environments, good quest, nice selection of classes that you can become, and crafting is pretty expansive.
A horrible game that's getting even worse every single patch. The only playerbase left is erpers and normies. Also a shitty gcd that makes the combat dull and crap. Horrid pvp. Shit pve where the base mechanics is 'do you have enough dps? okay you're good. no? fuck you go get more gear then enjoy stepping out of circles while you do dps"

expect a fully instanced not open world mmo made for consoles with a 2.5 GCD and a shitty story that often gets sidetracked. For instance the story mentions the primal known as Titan, but before you can kill him you have to collect ingredients from other places so they can have a feast for no apparent reason
you can also expect extremely long dps queues for dungeons (by the way dungeons are required and the story stops until you complete whichever one is next) and even when your queue pops you usually have to wait for a dungeon server to open up so you can actually do it which can take just as long as a regular dps queue
and don't expect to play any of the newer heavensward classes as you have to already have a job leveled to max and complete the entire ARR storyline just to unlock them

Just keep in mind that classes are UTTERLY BORING early on. Seriously you'll just spam 2 buttons for 30-40 levels. They all become really great around 40-50 though.
Archer is the only class that gets most of its main cycle very early (lvl 15-20), so if you like archers go for it.

It's fine. Only problem is that you'll end up with more skills than you can put comfortably on your PS4 crosskey shortcuts, but the game does accept mouse+keyboard controls.
But at that point why not play it on PC anyway?

It's filled with DPS because the stupid DPS/Tank/Healer triumvirate they shove every class into and over 80 percent of the jobs/classes fall into the DPS role because of it.
Three healer jobs, of course you'll get in pretty quickly.
