It's unabashedly mediocre. Totally throws away the RPG aspects of the previous games, even moreso than Fallout 3. Mods are the only thing that will possibly save it by re-introducing these mechanics. Glad I pirated and didn't buy.

Is it bug free? No.
Could it have been way better? Of course.
I will even admit that I don't think Bethesda worked for 7 years in this game, or if they did they really should fire most of their staff members.
BUT the final product is still fun and addicting, especially if you are a fan of open world games with freedom to do whatever you want.
