I play a lot of single player games and a few MMOs, all of which run beautifully on my now few years old PC. I do like playing at higher resolutions and running mods. And stable framerates are just as amazing as when I first got them.
It's actually really exciting when playing a console game and the frame rate is stable, but this is usually only for fighting and action games, which I mostly play anyway on consoles.
So yeah, really the stable framerates and variety of options for everything is what drew me in and kept me there. Haven't abandoned my last gen consoles though, love em a lot and play them very much still.
