They took literally everything out of SF that made SF interesting. Pokes are nerfed, combos are nerfed, spacing is nerfed, anti-air normals are nerfed.
The game is so fucking simple now, it's so easy to force people to jump because there are no interesting ways to read the opponent anymore.
I think I loved every SF for its own reason.
I loved ST because it had crazy high damage for relatively easy execution, the depth came from the approach with the opponent and spacing
I loved SFIII (3S included) because it still is the best looking SF ever and it was a new, fresh approach of the game with the new parry system. The artstyle was amazing too.
I loved SF4 because it was very dynamic with the comeback mechanics, and the FADC system was fun as hell.
I am loving SFV because it fixes some of the issues SFIV had (wake-up situations, way too high reward from easy and safe situations like mashed jabs) and actually rewards yourself for reading your opponent's moves.
I just love Street Fighter. You may love things too, if you want.

Every single version of 4 is garbage, I played every single one of them. AE2012 was the least terrible. I did play A3 and 2I but I didn't like those games, 3S was better in my mind and probably for many other as well considering it's still the most played version of 3. I played about 60 games during the beta, 7 of which I lost. Anti-air normals are the best anti airs in the game. Crouching fierce as Ryu, crouching mp as nash, standing back mp as Cummy. There is literally no way to get in on these fools(except Ryu) because their ground game is so strong.

Ken has exactly one hit confirm and they took away his one and only run combo unless you CH.
