It's like the worst and most irrelevant point to begin with. Nothing but Hamazaki's redemption in Y4 carries over from it. They need to stop forcing us to play as non-Kiryu characters. It should be optional. The game needs to include more event sequences like huge fights, or running through levels. They're the most fun. More of them with choice of characters kinda like near the end of 4 where you could pick either Akiyama or Kiryo.

Give Sosuke money to go to kamurocho then go visit Komaki when you get there. He's in the homeless gambling building. After some events you get to fight both Komakis and you raise the cap when you win. Also even after you get to 25 you won't have enough souls to get all upgrades. You need to play IF8 a bunch too
