I enjoyed it. Honestly, I prefered Coliseum's shadow Pokemon roster to this one, but the game play improvements make it far and away the better of the two. Also, starting at level 30, while action packed, it's really, really weird.

Colosseum had a super high 10-15 level jump right at the final boss and the last dungeon in XD is like 3 hours long and contains like a third of the game's shadow pokemon.

That would probably be Realgam Tower. It's a gauntlet of six trainers, no healing breaks. Every trainer has a shadow pokemon, and the last two trainers are bosses with full teams of high level pokemon. The last one also uses two pseudolegendaries and some really powerful strategies.

Depends. Coliseum has a very dark atmosphere, especially for a pokemon game, introduces several great characters, and has some of the toughest boss fights in the franchise (no bossfight really sticks out as easy, they all use reliable strategies like weather and move comboes). GoD fixes all the big bugs and gripes players had with Coliseum, but you lose some of that dark atmosphere and and a shittier badguy who gets redeemed at the end. Both are good, but which one you like more is up to preference.

This is more of a personal thing I enjoyed, but I liked keeping a Shadow Pokemon and fighting with it until I could purify it. That way when it leveled up like ten times after purification and learned a bunch of new moves it felt like achieving a milestone.
So, which boss gave you guys the most trouble? For me it was always Venus. My team was almost always all men, so I had the hardest time fucking hitting her. Also, her Suicune is the biggest fucking bitch to catch.

All of the bosses in Colosseum are pretty hard except Ein, especially if you don't have a strategy. Dakim is probably the biggest filter since he uses the Protect-Earthquake strategy at a point where your Pokemon are probably like just scratching 100HP.
