this also causes the mental aspect of the game to take a bit of a backseat until very high levels of play because up until that point whichever person is executing better will win 95% of the time
in sf on the other hand mindgames and reading/responding to your opponent is pretty crucial even for beginners because the pace of the game is slower and allows for it

I'm slowly getting better, but I'm still at the point where I struggle to keep my PP over 1000 in USFIV so I know I have a long way to go
Still feels great to see progress though, and when you get matched with a complete newbie online and destroy him and remember how you used to make all the same mistakes he made back when you started, it's an interesting feeling

Because I go to school and don't want to make a video game, a form of entertainment, a job. When you start practicing a game, even a fighting game, to go against other people, that other people don't care about, you are wasting time. Thats why I don't play most multiplayer games.
