I haven't played MP since earlier this year, but I very rarely ran into hackers and cheats.
The most fun things to do are races, and heists. Meet some friends online, team up with them for heists and races, and enjoy levelling up and raking in cash.
Buy the armored karuma for Easy mode.
I had a ton of fun online, and my only complaint is the longer loading times than you get in single player.
Don't run mods in MP (use the mod manager to easily turn mods on and off) or you will be banned.
GTA 5 on ultra in 1080p at 60fps is fucking gorgeous.
