Mother 4 is making the mistake of using the original name so either people are going to be bored that its just more of the same or that it sucks because its too different.
Undertale while inspired by mother (and a lot of other games) is its own thing and thus it can be judge separately of the rest of the mother games.

This one is also hard to say. I'm not part of the testing group. Basically, the team holds certain things private to prevent leaks going out, but I know it's longer than Undertale. I almost want to say it's about Earthbound length? Maybe? Working, current builds of the game are handed out to the higher ups, the version I'm playing right now is an older one, so like I said, I'm unsure how long it will be in the end, but knowing Pastel, he's definitely made it lengthy. There's lots to do in the overworld, I think everyone will enjoy. At least, that's what we hope.
