Is this worth getting for someone who doesn't patricularly like Borderlands but does like The Walking Dead?
Yeah, it's a solid title and probably the best Borderlands game ironically enough.
Ending is pretty shit, but all around a great game.
Yeah, I don't much care for Borderlands either but it utilizes the lore in a way that is not obnoxious. I enjoyed the shit out of it.

Second only to the first season of the Walking Dead for me as far as Telltale goes.

I liked Fiona's character, but I prefer her rivalry turned passive aggressive friendship with Rhys more-so than starting a romance with her. Different kind of chemistry.
I hate the borderlands games and I fucking loved it.
It's really well written and is genuinely funny with literally zero memes. There's only one awful SJW joke in it but it was the only episode partially written by Burch but its so out of place its weird.
It's also surprisingly touching and emotional.
What I liked is that it explores the actual workings of the Borderlands universe which is actually very interesting to see "pedestrian" life and corporate shit in that world.PS Sasha is my waifu

Pre-sequel is shit. BL and BL2 are both good, for different reasons.
2 expands the world a bit, fills in some gaps, give you some lore, and does some nifty shit with the guns and grenades and such.
1 is a pretty decent shooter, has so many guns you will never be able to see them all. Has couch co-op and online play which are both great. It's simple and fun and many of the guns feel very satisfying to use(The Orion, the Pestilent Revolver/Masher.)
I like 2 a bit more than 1, but they're both good to waste some time on especially if you have someone to co-op with. Shit, got my dad hooked on BL1, he's got every weapon maxed out except for the alien guns and has a full bank of gold gear plus all the crap he carries with him. The only thing NOT gold is his fucking shield for some reason.

Was hyped for more Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, while laughing at the idea of people making a shoot-em-up like Borderlands into a Telltale game.
Ended up liking it far more than the other two and wondering if there will be a second season.

This game actually got me into the series. I dropped Borderlands because of how boring and bland it was, but after finishing this I actually forced myself to finish the first one so that I could play the other two and I don't regret it. Unlike the first, they were tons of fun.

There's the usual Telltale style of having the finale end in the same general place regardless of your choices, but I think it had a good balance of optional scenarios and character relationships that react to your choices.
