So now that we all known Helldivers won't be in the winter sale, is it still worth buying the base game for around ~15 eurobucks? The game looks alright enough, it's just that those metric fuckton of DLC packs kind of have me worried. I don't want to get this only to find out I need to shell out 20 more bucks to get the gear required to keep up in later levels

Yeah the game is great and you can solo lvl 12 difficulty missions without dlc. (but i dont think you can complete the "Kill X enemy" missions alone or the bosses).
In the end the dlcs are not necessary.

Which of the DLCs are a must have, if at all any. I considered picking up for next to nothing on PS4 but all that DLC really threw me off.
