You need to delay the j.H, OP. Sol shouldn't be able to tech for quite a while after being hit by 2S. In your webm it looks like you're hitting j.H as soon as you're leaving the ground, which is too early.

If you do it against the corner then a super jump won't be required, but that should go for every combo, when you see that the opponent is too high up, you do the high jump.
There are other more advanced combos for Axl where instead of this you do an instant bomber. dash forward, 6p etc. I'm not an Axl player so I cannot help you with that, but I'm one hundred percent sure that a super jump works there because it would for any other character.

Here's a tip for Axl players or anyone who doesn't know: waiting a while for the slowdown on an RC combo to end bypasses some of the damage reduction. This is handy for Axl since his RC point (DP and Rensen 8 followup) still give him plenty of time to combo even after waiting after the slowdown.

I-no is too hard for a beginner I think, while not as execution intensive as XX, she still needs a lot of discipline to be played, you need to work on your okizeme and you need to be cautious about how you use your unique dash without getting punished.

This is the first real fighting game I've gotten into since Soul Caliber, and I'm getting stomped horribly, even by the AI.
It's fun, settled on Slayer to play as. Doesn't seem like he has long combo strings but holy fuck he does damage. His backstep into punch blowing a fucking across the screen is very satisfying.

Neutral game is anywhere you play that does not involve directly oppressing your opponent. Once you have your position is in a place of direct attack, neutral game ends and offensive game starts, like how the defensive game of the opponent begins.
Then when you launch your opponent you can begin your combo game, which also triggers your opponents get shat on game.
When your opponent is due to wake up, you begin your wake-up into pressure game, which triggers opponents guessing game.

There's a reason why Millia has such shitty ranged normals and have paper thin life and why Zato is next to useless without Eddie, you're supposed to be pressuring them, not the other way around. Yeah, it's like they have massive power on their neutral thrust attacks, but Zato's armor class totally allows him to expunge damage scaling from the meta game. You're supposed to pressure while zip attacking from the safe neutral game. Their recovery has to beat the Tamago game if they're gonna be able to do anything.
We all know that counter hitting slides results in just single player neutral game reflecting on both sides, but honestly it's more worth it to fake cancel jump 100 times to instantly win any match.
As for Venom, you know that his double jump charge pierce move causes him to jump so high he breaks the in game logic stratosphere and dies, right?

Sure it looks fine. Anything is better than how KOFXIV turned out.
But SFV could be better. The palettes are drab and the characters don't stand out from the backgrounds.
The models also look bad. The tone on the muscles are disgustingly strong and the hair is modeled and textured in such a way to resemble fucking play-doh.
