So, these new Shadowrun games. Are they actually any good?
>Returns
>Dragonfall
>Hong Kong
Should I just go about them chronologically or is there some overarching story going on?
dragonfall is good

The first one is shit. The other two are good. They aren't connected outside of some minor references.

>Should I just go about them chronologically or is there some overarching story going on?
You meant in release order.
>>321048649
I want to know that as well, how much would i miss if i just jump to dragonfall?
>>321048831
You wouldn't miss anything. Dragonfall is set in Berlin.

>The first one is shit.
dont exaggerate
First one is okay, but really bland, I would skip it. If you do play it, don't use a decker.
Dragonfall and Hong Kong are both amazing. There are no serious connections between the three games, only some very minor references.
>>321048649
No, they're all pretty much mediocre but since the market is currently devoid of cyberpunk titles people end up praising them.
>>321049562
He's not exaggerating, it's fucking terrible.
>>321048649
They're simple games and not really faithful to Shadowrun the roleplaying game mechanically, but I'd still recommend them as a good entry point. Dragonfall is generally considered the best.
>>321048649
not really, you make bugger all choices, the combat isn't that hard and the story is a bit tryhard.
well made tho.
>>321049562
No it really is shit and the fact that you can't save whenever you want makes it diarrhea.
>>321050059
you can manually save, though. you're all talking about launch experience. game got patched like a motherfucker since.
