We passage of time now boys
>release date never

Some units have 2, 3, or 4 question marks for their unit count instead of just one. 1000+ unit wild armies confirmed?
>>321035743
good, let them work on the game as much as they need.
>>321035330
They should have left Turkey the moment shit started.
Characters also now age and possibly pass away. Maybe there's a dynasty system like in CK2.
>>321036140
>Turkey
did their previous games not do well enough to afford them a move to a real country?
Slavery confirmed to be most lucrative.
Oh well.
New update for PoP at least.
>>321035330
>One major change from Warband is how time progresses; the yearly cycle has been shortened to twelve weeks, which adds more importance to the changing seasons and ageing of characters.
Not sure if I like shortening the seasons/ years like this

moving an entire office, including employees, to another country is no easy task
you'd have to find an office, all your employees would have to be OK with moving to another country, they'd have to find a place to live in, then they'd have to learn the native language to where they move, etc. etc.
there are a lot of factors involved in moving and it takes a shitton of time to move an entire office, and it's not as easy as "oh hey we have enough money to move, let's do it"
Has anyone actually starved a castle into submission in this game?
>>321037013
Of course. Of course. But living in a place where you won't go to jail for shit talking your leader should tip the scale.
I don't fucking care what anyone says, A Clash of Kings is THE BEST mod out there and if you're too stupid to edit it to your liking then you shouldn't be playing M&B or any other game that has a modding community.
>>321037053
No because I can't set up pickets and leave a besieging force to block resupply while I continue to campaign elsewhere.
Staying put for 30+ days is a great way to lose a war.
>>321037013
>have to learn the native language
nah just move to sweden
pretty sure their government will give them money for not learning the language
>>321037278
Sell me on it anon
I couldn't get into it at all. It's just regular warband with some GoT lore quest thrown in right?
Atleast pendor has custom knight orders and stuff.
Wait so they're still using the same fonts?
>>321037723
Yep. That same, shitty Papyrus-tier font.
I've grown to love it though.
>>321037496
Alright senpai
>best textures out of any mod
>quests that give unique items and can even trigger new faction invasions
>extremely challenging, but not stupidly so like PoP
>up to 17 factions with 3 hidden ones
>conquering certain castles yield unique items
>exploring ruins grants exp and treasure, treasure chests hidden in major cities too so there is a reason to explore
>major cities and castles designed from the novel and show
>amazing atmosphere, especially in the unique scenes>quest where you fight an army of undead
Even if you haven't seen the show or novel, the lore and backstories are explained by maesters in major castles.

>Sequel to Butterlord comes out
>It's still using the commercial version of Mordred Bold
>>321035330
>new Bannerlord update
>20 posts in 50 minutes
Good job, /v/.
Hopefully they'll still make modding easy.
>>321038541
>today's update
ITS FUCKING NOTHING
>>321038596
>those hands
>>321038630
No, anon, it's SOMETHING.
>>321037013
They can just move to fucking germany. A ton of turks are already there.
>>321038541
we've already had threads before this though
all in all nothing to say really outside of character aging, just hope 2016 release is legit

So, there will be children? In M&B:W I always wanted mod that would add possibility to have a son, to teach him how to fight and to play him after 1st character died

>tfw my wet dream is M&B + CK2

YE JUSTE
>>321038957
I'd love to see more games adopt an overworld like M&B's own
>>321038804
>rivers freeze during the winter
It'd be cool if that would allow small parties to cross the rivers anywhere.

m&b was in alpha for like six years too, so we're probably 8 years from release, 9 years from a filly patched game, and 12 years from the followup that improves on it in every way
>>321039610
Original M&B was also developed by Armagan and his wife alone.
>>321035330
That's tragically unexciting.
What's the issue with this game? I understand M&B only had the one develloper but it surely did well right? They have a whole team working on this...
>>321039610
they have a studio now though, it's not just a turk and his wife
Any confirmation as to whether or not you'll be able to kill noblemen this time around?
It's something that always irked me about Mount and Blade.
>>321040568
And maybe some balanced consequences for killing a nobleman as well, to stop players from going around slaughtering every lord by kiting the shit AI
Things like getting a casus belli against your faction/kingdom, the nobleman's family coming after you for revenge, A bounty of some sorts, a honor hit depending on why you killed them.
>>321040568
Doubt it, and hopefully not. That would mean procedurally generated replacement lords to balance the scales, and procedural generation is fucking cancer. I'd rather have a cast of unique lords each with their own personality.
