XBX for me. In second, I'd put Magic Duels. I know a lot of people hate it, but I've put 200+ hours in it. For third, Rocket League. MGSV and Splatoon both get honorable mentions.

These are mine, familia. Yoshi was kind of shock for me, and I sunk a shit load of time into Splatoon, but Bloodborne was something else. I may have felt differently had I played Dark Souls or Demons' Souls at the time, but I didn't, so it's number 1.

OP here, yeah I had a really hard time deciding between XCX and bloodborne especially with the old hunters. I gave it to XCX because exploration is my favorite aspect of video games and XCX was like a dream come true in that category.
Bloodborne is my favorite souls game though and I'm afraid of DS3 because I can't see going back to the regular souls combat after it.

The dungeons may be randomly generated, but that just adds to the challenge. There's still some level design between dungeons in how each dungeon is generally laid out. Some dungeons always have more erratic hallway placement than others and larger or smaller rooms. Some have round rooms instead of square ones. Some have items appear more often in them than others.
And furthermore, what makes PMD games so great is how much focus on the characters and story the games get, as well as how challenging the gameplay often is. In Super Mystery Dungeon in particular, the tutorial alone pits you up against a level 50 Salamence when you should be about level 12. You're forced to prepare before dungeons and bring along the right equipment for each cave, being ready to use items early and often to save your ass and beat enemies even in the toughest of situations.
Story wise, every character has a strong amount of focus, perhaps too much as the tutorial lasts too long, but nonetheless its there. They all have distinct lovable personalities, and this time spent on the characters is important for making tragedy and other story events all the more impactful. PSMD is a great game senpai.

When you play Witcher 3 or Shadow Hearts or some normal RPG, you get something you can't from an MMO. Good story, long branching and interesting quest, so and so forth.

Granted I just got off a deployment so I haven't played much.
I had the most fun with Rocket League, but I'm still playing 2014/beta games regularly. The only 2015 game I can see myself constantly going back to is Rocket League because Bloodborne gimped invasions when being hunted by a red phantom during PvE is what makes Soulsborne games so fun.
