They can't just make a console extremely similar to Sony or Microsoft consoles and expect people to just come in. They don't have that kind of support anymore. If they want people to come in, they are going to have to have something that attracts a huge amount of people that none of the other companies have.
And I don't mean game exclusives, but those help. Things like what the Wii did. Hopefully it's not a shitty motion gimmick but something that actually fucking benefits every single game of application on the next console, or one of those quality of life/convenience sort of things.
