Pretty much all the Dungeon Crawlers I play.
I have a couple of them and I've spent hundreds of hours on them but I'm not really all that good at them.
Surprisingly lots of games. I have a problem where I don't always try new things in some games, which leads me to get wrecked. Notably RPGs.

this so much, I'm ashamed to admit that though I own Bayo 2 I have yet to try it for fear of sucking as much dick at the battle system as I did with the first. I tend to like to get really good at all a games mechanics and battle system but for Bayo I just didn't.

Grand strategies like Crusader Kings, EU4 and especially Victoria 2 were this for a while, but I eventually got decent at them.

Use stronger combos.
Use heavier hitting weapons.
Use non-kick/punch attacks. Shoot button is locked, but you can still enemy step with shotguns on legs for damage.
Taunt for magic and use tetsuzankos and heel stomps.
