I'm 40 hours in FO4, and I kind of like it.
but I have major issues with city areas.
Every a few steps, the game lags like fuck, i mean big stutter pause.
I guess it's loading shit, because after the stuttering is gone the fps is back to normal again. ( turn around like crazy, no fps drops)
I play on an old HD6850, but I use the optimized textures.
Is it the GPU? or should I get an SSD drive?
I'm leaning towards the SSD? Can only afford one.

I posted this in the threads that were up when the game first came out, but essentially the difficulty should have went like this.

125% damage dealt. 50% damage taken.
Enemies stand in place when they shoot at you. They hardly ever use cover and when they do, they never mix it up.
>Normal
100% damage dealt. 100% damage taken.
Enemies will occasionally use cover and sometimes use explosives if they have them. Tossed explosives are often innacurate. Enemies will sometimes move around to avoid fire, but only after being shot at.
>Hard
90% damage dealt. 110% damage taken.
Enemies will almost always use cover. If you've recently gone behind cover enemies with explosives will toss them somewhat accurately. Enemies will duck and run from to cover to cover to chase you. If you use explosives against them they'll run to a different spot. Enemies will actively dodge you instead of waiting for you to shoot.

80% damage dealt. 120% damage taken.
Enemies always use cover and throw explosives with startling accuracy. Enemies with nearby allies will switch off between taking cover and firing at you. Enemies are cautious of mines and will disarm them if possible. If you've taken to firing on one enemy the other enemies will take less cover and fire on your position more. Enemies will roll, sprint, and duck to cover once combat starts. Enemies will be more alert to stealth after you've killed one of their allies.

I keep wanting to play survival but its very clear that the game was not designed around it, I think they expect you to switch to survival after you are already godlike
at level 3/4, you can go 10 endurance, max out your armor to like 50/50 with armorer, get a pipe pistol that does 45 damage, and get killed in 5 seconds from a couple of bloodbugs attacking you 4 times total

That pissed me off after a while. Every time they send in a vertibird that's not in the open country side it crashes and leaves dead scribes and half dead knights everywhere
Starting playing this game like two days ago.
Sometimes, quicksaves take like 15 seconds to do, while at other times (like 10 minutes later) the game barely hiccups when I quicksave.
Loadings are always pretty fast though, just the saving.
It's on my SSD.
Is something wrong or is it just an other awesome Fallout 4 feature?
