The extended distance was fun to play through once, but the game was meant to have lots of fog. Makes it too easy when you can shoot enemies from far away, but it's cool seeing the levels the way they weren't meant to be seen.
I think I found a new strategy. I was thinking about skipping all the tek armor next run until I beat the mantis in stage 5. Then go back to all the stages and pick up the power armors. That should get me hundreds and might be able to beat the game with hundreds left.
I think I played the first level as a tiny baby idiot child and ended up turning on all the cheats to have fun. Good Blockbuster rental but I was too stupid to get anywhere.
Isn't there a cap to how much armor you can get? Or did they remove that for this new version?
Game just fucking SHREDS it's so good. It plays like Dinosaur Quake - straight-up buttery. Night Dive Studios is literally God.

Im pretty sure there is a limited amount. Back in the day I turned the invincibility on and got as many as I knew about to see how high I could get my armor. It was around 800 if I remember correctly.
Lots of them are hidden pretty well and you have to know which blue portals have them too.
Did any of the original games have multiplayer? I only ever got to watch one of my friends play the campaign with cheats.
