True, but that doesn't mean we can't identify common criteria for a video game to be considered 'good' and then discuss whether, from our individual perspectives, the game matches that criteria. Said discussion will hopefully lead to a productful synthesis of perspectives that enriches our apreciation for the game or opens our eyes to some of its flaws. And so the medium and its consumers both evolve.
