You're right, for me they aren't. I play fighters, and I had to make exceptions for ASB but it was still a blast to play. And it was easy enough for friends to get into it and learn a few characters. Also DBXenoverse was a good example of how to do those games as there was a much more satisfying combo system that could be used with supers to make really fun AND flashy things happen on screen with minimal effort.
