It is fine, but strictly inferior to 60+ fps 1080p. Its like comparing lossless music in high-quality headphones to v0 Mp3 in 100$ speakers. Using the former doesnt maean you have good taste and it wont make shit music better. It does improve the experience a bit though.

Nostalgia. The very best games from each major platform are timeless, be it NES, SNES, PSX or whatever else.
I like Risen 2. It's clichéd, clunky, with voice acting medicore at best, and while the game isn't ugly, performance kind of sucks. Yet I have found the pirate theme enjoyable. The world reminds me about early Conan books (tribals, old temples, pirates). Combat got improved and using a freaking monkey to rob houses is plain fun.
Not a GOTY, but better then what I've heard around here.

They're roughly equal in quality assuming you have a good gaming PC to play all the games that look much better on N64.
PSX actually has an advantage over the Saturn in that it's more approachable. To fully appreciate the Saturn's library, you need to be able to into moonrunes.
