They were cute but still boring and Lailah feinting ignorance was really annoying with the shoddy translation. Edna's story with her brother was the only thing showed any character but even that ending in an anticlimactic fashion. It's ignored 95% of them game until they just decide they can't save him, a mention or two off looking for a cure when you visit a random town would have gone a long way.

Do you have the long step battle skill on? I personally didn't have trouble with dodging in Zestiria (except for the camera failing to keep up). And a perfect dodge isn't that hard to do, really.
I want the Zest equipment system to die and never come back. The amount of stupid shit I have to farm to just get a +1 to my combo is retarded and I loose stat gains at the same time. Just go back to opening a treasure chest and getting a better piece of gear.
