there is a good possiblilty that bottlenecks will occur.

most likely the motherboard will bottleneck it first, then the ram, than the cpu.

i noticed a massive bottleneck on my old computer after getting a new gpu due to southbridge issues.

YOU should be fine, the best thing you can do after or before you upgrade your gpu is get an SSD, it makes the whole computer feel faster and is a much more worthwhile upgrade.
