The battle mechanics are actually pretty interesting and fun by the endgame once you actually unlock all your tools, it has good music and there's nice hints of nostalgia thanks to the Disney source material.
I don't know how anyone stomachs the long journey of nonsense plot, mindless field enemies, backtracking through empty worlds and unlikable characters those things are buried under though.

Castle Oblivion, Radiant Garden and Realm of Darkness are pretty much confirmed I think since the game's description says that Mickey and Riku look for previous keyblade wielders. These worlds were the last places the BBS trio were seen, and Mickey may be aware of all this because Aqua told him when they met in the Realm of Darkness.
Can anyone who played Chain of Memories in full explain what Mickey was doing in Castle Oblivion? He came with Riku after they got left behind in the realm of darkness after KH1, but they never mentioned anything or even remotely hinted about Ventus being there until 358/2 days (I think Axel mentions that Xemnas is looking for someone in there). So Mickey essentially gave up looking for Ven during the events of COM or Aqua never told him where he was.
