This is pretty common. I'm 100% sure that more than just NoA does it. Doesn't mean that it doesn't show the garbage state of western voice acting in videogames (or in general really)

Include the fact that dual audio is going the way of the dinosaurs and the fact that Nintendo still region locks their consoles in the year of 2015 means you'll be stuck with either pirating or shit Chaos Wars-tier dubbing
