Nah take off the rose tinted glasses man mario 64 was repetitive, uninspired and bland. It has no npcs in any of the worlds to give them life like BK does. Less interesting hub world, less details given to levels overall, every fight with bowser is the same meanwhile every boss fight in BK is totally different. The list goes on. Also pads in BK are the same as metal cap blocks or wing cap blocks in mario 64.
