Was a nice touch in MGSV. At the very least enemies were absolutely convinced there was no way you were around, and those that were tried to convince their buddies to not be so flippant about it because you would fuck them up.
Literally every enemy knowing who you were was cool.

I played Dishonoured in a way that I would try my best to be stealthy and that's where the game is at its best, but if I was discovered I would just go nuts and slaughter everyone.
Enemies talk about "the masked man" even though they all know it's you, but that's as much as I know. I got the neutral ending.
Oh one exception though. In the brothel they were holding Emily in I slaughtered everyone without bothering with stealth except to get in. Goddamn Blink breaks that game.
