Is there such a thing as stoner games, in the same vein as stoner movies, for instance? Something with moderate difficulty and interesting gameplay... nice graphics, but not necessarily hightech. Pixels can look very nice.
If not, what do you guys recommend or like to play while high?
Each time I try DkS and end up losing thousands of souls. I'll bump this for a while with /v/ related imagery.
Just play a game you like, this shit isn't complicated.

Majora's Mask, Wind Waker, or really any 3d zelda can be a pretty good time. I have gotten myself stuck on puzzles that are normally not too challenging before though.

Its not that they are too hard, but more that require a decent amount of focus. I end up spending more time fighting the high than I do just enjoying it.
I love Dark Souls to death, but outside of the atmosphere, it's not a very good game to play high.
I think any platformer caters to stoners

Minecraft is always fun to zone out to while high, and oddball games or shit with a unique art style are always fun as well. Stacking, Subnautica, and Don't Starve are good choices too

Play a 3D platformer like Sonic Adventure (1 or 2), Super Mario Sunshine, or my GOAT, pic related. It's the best linear platformer I've ever played, hands down. I hate having to keep track of things while high, like which doors I haven't checked out yet, which upgrade path I want, etc. In Rayman 2, you can just turn your brain off, get comfy with the beautiful art style and wonderfully composed, thematic soundtrack, and kill some robo pirates.
Or just play Sonic Adventure and go back and forth between laughing at the shitty dialogue and singing along with cheesy rawk n' roll lyrics while going fast.
Sonic and Rayman are multiplat, so you can play the PC versions, or just emulate any of the other existing versions.

We Love Katamari is the one you should play specifically. (if possible)
The first Katarmari game is good, but had issues due to being the very first time they were trying a new idea. It's still good, but suffers from camera/control issues.
We Love Katamari was the original creator delivering 200% of what the original game was with all the small issues ironed out.
The games that came out after We love katamari was the company being forced to crank out the same game for new platforms despite having no new ideas.They're still great games if they're the only ones you can get your hands on, but they seem soulless if you played we love katamari. This isn't rose tinted googles, this was every reviewer's opinion the day the games released.
