newest clue is an in-game painting fomr the lastes update.
it depicts Mike in his house looking at a pasted image of Ursula's house. Note that Ursula is one of the girls you can pick up and bang. the weather becomes rainy after taking her to her house.
Why would R* superimposed her house in Mike's kitchen like this?

the mystery is based upon this mural which is indie the shed ontop of Mt Chillad. the jetpack man in the drawing is pretty odd. what does it represent. and what are the 5 boxes with "x"'s in them? Some people think the jetpack man represents Fort Zancudo (because there is a Jetpack in San Andrea's Area 51) . there is also 2 spiderwebs found that spawn for an hour in game, they might be nothing
There is also a glowing alien egg that has been found in files. Its unknown if its a removed object, or just a troll by R*. there is also an alien HUD which might have been removed by now
You resolve the mystery and then what?
If there's some object to be unlocked by it, it's probably shown by some modders already. So there wouldn't be any surprise.
I bet there will be some DLC they add, which you have to pay for, that'll help solve it

i find arg puzzles like these compelling but i simply cant expend any energy speculating on vague as shit clues for no palpable reward or concrete result

I like to watch them. I derive no pleasure from attempting to solve them, successfully or otherwise, I've honestly never liked puzzles.
But I enjoy watching people solve them. The mental gymnastics, the speculation, the theories proven and debunked over and over, are entertaining. Like an episode of mythbusters.

R* has put a ton of symbolism in the logos / architecture. A lot of eyes, stars and triangles. There's a mayn pyramid on top of a building which can be aligned with an eye on top of another building

It's not a lot of effort to swap the map asset out for some random thing on that wall yet they kept it in.

Sorry you don't agree. I've played every GTA except the first one. Same fucking formula every time, V just did it the best. Story was interesting, characters were fun, setting was perfect for the satirical themes, gameplay has been improved significantly.
