If you want more help then practice on the first stage after buying the float burst. It helps and it will last you the whole game if you still want the help.

If what everyone else has told you doesn't stick for whatever reason, consider getting the Staff of Surging. It's saved me from pitfall deaths more times than I can count, and if you have a fully upgraded magic meter you can use it several times in a row to avoid death.

Found him to be the hardest, but it was a lot of fun to try out and mix all of my equipment to see what type of bomb was best at each phase of his battle.
It's amazing how most bossfights become almost trivial if you find out the best bomb combination to kill them. Very fun.

Does anyone get the feeling we're missing out on some shit we'd have wanted to hear by not having Black Knight, Polar Knight, or Enchantress campaigns? There's a lot of unexplored plot points revolving around those three that we were clearly being set up to hear. I have no regrets, though, because the three best knights won the poll.

Wario is great because he enjoys being a greedy fuck. Treasure Knight seems more outright consumed by avarice than indulgent and boisterous. You do have excellent taste, though, diver knight living in a mechanical whale was my favorite Order concept before I met the characters themselves.
Is it possible some of the knights aren't human? Plague could be an actual bird person behind the mask. A bird NPC seems to think he's one of them, and they'd know if anyone would. At the least, I'm almost certain Mole Knight is a big mole.

Charge> jump> burst> jump to compensate. That will get you through the first section of the game until you get the float burst. If you still struggle after that, you need to git gud. If you struggle after getting the surge/vat spell, you should consider sudoku.

No. It's important to understand what people mean by git gud. It means that there is no more advice that can be given that can improve performance without practice, so you have to rely on your own skill instead of going on the internet to ask them to solve the game for you. It can also mean 'the learning curve is part of the experience (i.e. Dark Souls, X-COM), so quit asking us to ruin it for you,' though Plague of Shadows is definitely the former.
